Inyo Systems introduced ASN1, a native macOS workspace that keeps schemas, JSON values, encoded payloads, and diagnostics together. It supports writing and validating ASN.1 schemas; encoding and decoding BER, DER, OER, PER, UPER, and XER; GSER encoding; and visual inspection of BER and DER structures. Processing takes place locally on the Mac.

Cisco plans to open-source our H.264 codec, and to provide it as a binary module that can be downloaded for free from the Internet. Cisco will not pass on its MPEG LA licensing costs for this module, and based on the current licensing environment, this will effectively make H.264 free for use in WebRTC.
